I am 26 F trying to reduce my weight. Even though I weight 85 I am keeping god health and never feel tired (Height 5.4").
I have been walking regularly about 1 hr every day covering 5km. It had been good and has helped me to maintain my weight. Now I want to start skipping along with my walk. Trying to do 45min walk and 15min skipping.

Will skipping affect my knees? Also begin female will it affect my uterus?

What is your body mass index? Based on the numbers you provide, you are anorexic.

Have you seen a doctor about this?

It is hard to maintain any weight goal by simply using aerobics. Aerobics does backfire overtime (damaging soft tissue and joints, cannibalizing muscle, lowering fat oxidation rate.)

All women need to do some form of resistance training with moderate intensity levels.
Also eating properly will keep you at a maintained body composition.

Skipping (when done correctly) is excellent:
Skip drills such as high skipping (IN GRASS!!) for 40 meters approx 3-5 sets is great....but it is a skill that needs to be learned.
When done wrong it can damage intrinsic muscles in the pelvic, hips and lower back. Feeling it in your uterus can be "referred pain" (pain source is actually in another area).

Check my source and goodluck

Skipping is one one the best exercises you can do.. Gets the lungs going like no-ones business. Its blloody hard work though. I work with triathletes, one girl is SO fit its insane. She said if you can do 7mins skipping a day, it will fall off. Youll be lucky to do 15.. 3mins is hard enough.
Start off at 3mins and work up..to more if you can. that way you wont give up on it first go. It wont affect your uterus, but if you have bad knees it may not be a great idea..

I think she means 85 killograms, which is a decent weight for someone who is 5.4....skipping will effect your knees if you are a bit heavy

I doubt it will affect your uterus.

I wouldn't be surprised if it affected your knees though.

btw, 85 kilograms = 187.392923 pounds to those saying she is skinny/anorexic
