Will my foot get infected if I cut off my toes?

Just make sure you don't use anything that is not sterile and make sure you don't bleed to death. Why would you want to do that for?

If it has, 1. Warmth 2. Funny coloring 3. Red lines then it is probably infected. I'd go to the doctor right away if you see red lines. If the infection does get bad, you may lose a toe. They'll cut off the extra skin most likely. The infection may be natural, your body may be trying to fix it.
