At the end of last nights game the crowd was cheering quite loudly. Were there that many Sox fans at the stadium or were the Rockies fans displaying good sportsmanship?
I hope it was a bit of both.

listen im not a Red Sox or Rockies fan, but when you waited 86 years(I know there ain't many fans alive still that could say that) for one title, don't you think that RS fans would do whatever they had to, to be able to celebrate a 2nd in 4 years in person(not to mention sweeps for both of them)?

I think it was both. Rockies fans really made an impression on me that they were obviously more classy than Red Sox fans because Red Sox fans would NEVER clap for another team winning on their field.

I liked the Red Sox better when they hadn't won in 86 years.

Mostly Rockies fans were honoring their team that came from nowhere to get into the world series. They were just showing their respect for a great season.
