Take square meters and multiply by 10.764 to obtain square feet. To convert square meters into traditional squares (which is 10' x 10') divide square meters by 9.29.
Hope that helps.

With all due respect; I'm confused. Convert to squares? You mean in the sense of a GRID? Or material for installation; such as tile; or hardwood; carpet??? Dividing an area into those "squares"?
