Aid workers in poor countries are a real pandemic. A self feeding monster that serves its growing appetite with the misery of blacks. Either by our weekly barrage of neo-colonial proxy wars. Which is western backed puppet governments or coups. Now every fever or cough is diagnosed as aids to squeeze more money out for big drug companies and the ever expanding aid agency mega machine. Complaints that financial help never works in africa while knowing that the money is actually given to western NGOs while the citizens receive the debt burden. Now with the news of sexual abuses by most aid workers for food with 8 yr old girls, doctors around the world caught injecting aids into children and the deliberate crisis of false positives for HIV/AIDS it's time to throw the baby out with the bath water. The more money has been spent and workers sent the WORSE the problem has been getting 2 decades after France & u.s. agreed to share the rights over creating the aids weapon. Speak out.

the question is what do you think, like it is for the thousands of articles that come out online and people jump to leave comments on but for some reason on yahoo answers, people completely forget the format they just used for a blog or news article. As for selective reading, that's exactly the point when I have to search for news that doesn't tow the party line and the version of the story that you PREFER.

Determined ignorance is the answer I expected. For the record though, the question is in the question section(top) with the question mark. That IS the solution to the aids epidemic in africa to remove western corrupt NGOs. But keep dodging because that's the most telling reason for so much smothering of any critique of the current regime and its success or failures.

Talk about selective reading of the news ... geez!

You're just funny.

What do you suggest as alternatives? The raping of babies as is done in South Africa, where they allow themselves to believe that sleeping with a virgin will cure aids?
The eating of garlic and lemons, as promoted by, God help us, the Health Minister? Or take a shower after sex?
And tell me, who will look after the villages of orphans whose parents have died of AIDS?
What are the alternatives? To leave Africa to die? Well, I suppose that is one way of solving the world's over population problem.
While you are right to bring these concerns to our attention, you offer no viable alternatives. What would you do? Walk away?

Edit: Well, if the answer was in the question, what do you expect? The answer also was in the links you provided, which was what those quoted said: they are dealing with people who misuse their position.
Aren't you the clever one? Too clever for me.

What is your question?

What do I think about AIDS? What do I think about AIDS treatments in Africa? What do I think about selective reading? What do I think about sexual abuse? What do I think about government funded programs? What exactly do you want me to provide you with an answer on?
