If by "acres" you mean land, yes. But you need to keep in mind that title insurance may not be available, while a comprehensive check of the title history may not always be possible. So it is possible to buy land which at some point in the past was conveyed illegally and may thus be returned to the rightful owner in the future without any compensation to you.
So as a practical matter, you should not buy land in Russia, unless you are making a speculative investment and plan to allocate to it a very small part of your portfolio.
If you do decide to buy, consider forming an offshore holding company and purchasing land through it.

Technically, all land in Russia is owned by the state. But you can buy 49 or 99 year leases on farmland. But this is far more difficult for foreigners than for Russian citizens.
