I am with Xenypoo on this one. Why should they show up for work at all? What have they done in the last 10 months? President Bush even stated in his news conference he would get more done, but nothing is coming through to him!

Pelosi spends time going to Syria, for what? They keep spending their time trying to increase funds for SCHIP and the people eligible now won't sign up, and the ones getting
the most out of the SCHIP are adults!

What is their approval rating now? This is what happens when you leave the Democrats in control of anything.

Wow, what a money saver. Even though they'll still get paid for wasting valuable time and valuable tax money for using their House microphones to voice their opinions on private citizens instead of actually doing the task at hand...

Now they do themselves a favor by working part time for not doing a damn thing.

Sweet.

Its better than the last Congress, they came in on Tuesday and left on Thursday. Of course, they didn't have to bother with that silly oversight function, anything Bush did was fine by them.
If fact, come to think of it, Bush himself is our most rested President, managing to take of over 500 days in his first five years. Wish I had that.

During the 1960s and 1970s, Congress met an average of 161 days a year. In the 1980s and 1990s, that number dropped to 139 days. This year, 2006, Congress will probably end up meeting for about 100 days -- an average of about two days a week in return for a salary of $165,000.

Truth hurts doesn't it?

They take everyday off. Notice anything they've accomplished since taking office? Have they fulfilled their promises? Not that I see.

Why do you hate kids so much? Lets hold the Bush adminstration accountable. They are OK asking for 46 Billion more to kill brown skinned people halfway around the world but won't provide health care for kids with out insurance. I suppose you have to have priorities.
