Action- Chamber of Secrets

story- CoS (this one was close because there was alot of back story to be told in the first one and it was told well. I wasn't just like UGH GET ON WITH THE STORY, y'know?)
Action- CoS
Adventure- CoS
Scary- CoS (the 1st movie is scarier to me)
Overall- Definitely the Chamber of Secrets
In fact, up until I read the 5th book and started to like them all better by newer they are, CoS was my fav. My BFF was always going on about how good 3 and 4 were, but my heart was with 2 for the longest time!

Philosopher's Stone was a better book, but Chamber of Secrets was a better movie.

Story: PS/SS--I thought she did a wonderful job of introducing the main characters and the Wizarding World.
Action: PS/SS--Action is happening all over the place, not just at Hogwarts.
Adventure: PS/SS--Everything is a new adventure
Scary: CoS--The second book gets the nod here, after all, the new attack might be just around the corner.
Overall: PS/SS: I thought JKR had a slight "sophomore slump", but CoS is still a lot better than many books.

hmm see chamber of secrets didn't really do that much for me. I liked the first one better. Apart from COS was better for scary and action.

The first is where a lot of the main ideas are introduced for later development. The second has a much tighter (unpredictable) plot and is possibly the last one intended for a purely child audience.
Personal favorite is still number 3!

Story- PS/SS, after all it's where it all began
Action- PS/SS, you get plenty of it when, the trio have to face all those obstacles to find the stone.
Scary- CoS, if feels almost like a mystery thriller, due to the random attacks and, the unknown identity of the perpetrator.
Overall- CoS, it's when Voldemort started to get interesting, rather then just being a 1 dimensional bad guy, it's one of my personal favorites in the series.

i agree with your opinion.. chamber of secrets.. (at that time when i wasnt exposed to the rest) was better in all areas

hum thats a hard one :) erm personally i dnt like hp but if i had to chose it would be the chamber of secrets more funny because of mertel and so on !
