I can't imagine that a raw egg would crack a concrete floor. I mean the concrete's pretty hard isn't it. But the egg will crack if dropped more than a couple of mm.

I will line the floor with enough thickness of hay and drop the egg at a safe distance from it.

LoL Love your question and my answer to that is no you can't crack the floor. I just tried it myself and it wouldn't give an ounce. But that was me falling off the platform the washer & dryer sit on in the garage. A bit bigger than an egg. LOL.

Make sure it lands on the blunt end, that way you have most chance of it not breaking because the egg is strongest there

if it is droped on the narrow point end it will not break it is all to do with the shape of egg.
also if you put the egg between your palms with the top and bottom of the ehh in your palms and push it will not breal either if you put the egg side to side you will end up all eggy
