I say leave the man a lone he did those people a great service, by giving them a choice to leave this life with dignity. My grandfather died of LES more commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig's disease. If I ever get to that point in my life where all I can do is move my eyes or I'm so sick that death is certain, I'd like the option of going out how I choose. For I do not want to be that kind of a burden on my family. I've lived my life my way and plan on doing so until death comes to take me to the next life what ever or where ever that is. Look at it this way death is coming any way if I'm sick like that I Just want it to come on my terms not someone Else's.

He'll go back to killing young women who are nowhere near death. I might feel more ambivalent about Killer Jack if he had restricted himself to slaughtering people who were end-stage, but in fact none of the people he killed were anywhere near being that sick. Karen Shoffstall, for example, needed to spend a few months in a rehab to learn how to get around. Instead, she was embarassed to death and instead of getting her the therapy she needed, Killer Jack simply put her to death. That's typical of Jack: his victims were sick but not dying, and more than six per cent of his victims were perfectly healthy.

Then again, once he's out, Karen's ex-husband might make good on what he said at her funeral and treat Jack to his own "therapy."
