Yes, when you listen to all of the experts talk about "parity" in the NFL and that any team can win on any given Sunday, and then watch the Patriots absolutely destroy every team that gets in their way, I would say they are the best team ever.

Even without a perfect season, the Pats will have an argument as the best team ever if they continue to dominate as they have all the way through the Super Bowl. Were still only half way through the regular season, lets hold off on the 'best team ever' occalades.

not yet. If they win the SB this year...they will be on the short list. If they win it again with Brady and Belichek..., and or go undefeated...then yeah....you have to give it to them...cause no other team will have won as many SB in as short of time.....or with essentially the same personnel.

Right now....the 70's Steelers and the 80's Niners are the top 2. Behind them are they Cowboys. Not sure if the Dolpohins get it.....since their undefeated was by several close games...even against some mediocre teams....and that team never came close to replicating that feat. The thing all these other teams have that the Dolphins didn't was longevity. They were legit Dynasties. The Pats need one more SB win to join that club. If they can get one for the thumb, all in the same decade.....they are the top team.

*GAAAH! I think there is a naked fat guy with a man crush on me.....he's following me everywhere......go away fat man!

honestly, i think of they appreciate only humiliating communities previous perception that's disgusting. The cheatriots have allot of weaknesses if communities could only see that. they are not unbeatable in any experience of the word. ok Pats followers, supply me a collection of thumbs down because of the fact somebody talked undesirable approximately your group :) P.S. it style of feels the refs like to help the pats whilst it is composed of effects whilst they dedicated a similar ones and have been blatant and have been given away with it.

To qualify as the "best" team ever, your last stringers have to be able to beat everyone else's first stringers, since starting lineups don't make up a full team.

People seem to forget that.

So, if the Pats can put up those numbers with Gutierrez leading the offense, then maybe they can take that title.

The 1972 Dolphins are arguably the best sports team ever; certainly the unblemished record will back that up statistically

No! Not even close.
The Colts are. They went unbeaten this far into the season 3 times. The Pats haven't.
