How do U reach battery in 2002 Benz E320?

Im trying to get to my battery and cant figure out how to reach the battery under my rear seat

read owners manual. You have to remove the bottom portion of the seat by pushing in on two detach buttons. on either end of the seat.

I don't know about the E-class, but I do know that the C-classes (W202) have them on the front passenger's side of the trunk lying just as deep as the spare wheel. Check if its the same for the E-class.
