Can the Steinbrenner boys screw things up any worse? Torre gone. A-Rod gone. Probably Mariano, Pettite, and Posada gone.
What are they thinking? Or are they just recklessly deconstructing a pretty good team with their newfound power?
(I have zero respect for them based on the way they handled Joe Torre. They will have to win some World Series before they get any respect from me. I class them with Jerry Jones the way he handled Tom Landry.)
Not only do we have to suffer from an entire year with the hated Red Sox having swept the World Series, the Steinbrenner boys seem to be systematically destroying the Yankees.

this is typical Steinbrenner family business.....You act so surprised.......Simple they feel A-Rod doesn't want to play for the Yankees anymore...This is a quote from NY Daily News

They are going to drive a potentially Playoff team to a lack luster below 500 team that consists of wash up players!!! Its gonna get worse before it gets better!!!

Agree!! In ten short days Steinbrenner "children" have dismantle what their father took 30 plus years to build. As a result the Red Sox will own the American League for the next 5 years.

I think moving out of Yankee Stadium is horrible. Cant they have fixed it up? So much history there, Ruth, Gehrig, Dimaggio, Mantle. What is left, Fenway, and Wrigley Field?
Oh about the brothers. They let a good man go, (Torre). I hope the fans will demand him back should they go on losing.

They do seem to be getting off to a slow start, but it is how the race ends that is important. I am not a Yankees fan but I would never count them out.
