... assuming that you are already good in your own right.

That is an interesting question to ask every day of our self. Then we might do less mistakes and harm to others. I would think more and talk less. I would be kinder to people and have less expectation of them. I would concentrate more on inside rather than outside me. I would have positive view towards people but don't believe them at first. I would try not to get angry and be calm to see anything in this world happening... I would answer more question on this site....

I don't know... assuming I'm "already good in (my) own right" may be pushing it a little; that is a thing I can't really judge. I feel I'm pretty good, and family says so, but you never know, really, do you?
After all that rather silly lead-in, if I were a better person I would travel more and meet with more people who may be in need of something I can provide. In my little town I like to listen to the stories of the elderly, and help them when I can... though mainly they just want to tell their stories, and I love to listen to them.
If I were a better person I'd make it over to that other little town, and even to the city, to go to senior centers and just listen to stories, and help when I can. ("help" can often be just bringing an extra blanket, or a smile... but I think it is mainly the listening.)

For me personally being a "better" person would mean better health, both physically and psychologically.

If I were healthy, fit and able, I would do a lot more than I can now. I would hopefully have a better quality of life. I would be able to engage fully in life. Give more of myself and be more of an active participant in life. I would love to be more in the driving seat, instead of feeling like a passenger, in some charabanc conked out on the hard shoulder!

I would love to travel more....

I am really confused as to why I have thumbs down, and why practically all the other replies also have thumbs down? I have read what people have written and there really isn't any such thing as a bad or wrong answer with this type of "opinion" question. So who is the mean so-in-so giving these thumbs down, and why? So your own reply looks better as you aren't going to thumbs down that... it seems to mean spirited and petty to me.

I would not let how I am feeling (tired, frustrated etc) affect how I treat other people. I read somewhere that that's how bullies behave - taking out their negative feelings on other people.

I'm liable to pick an argument if I'm feeling in a mood and that does not help anyone, let alone me, and definitely isn't fair on the person I'm picking on.

I need to chill out and go with the flow a bit more, not take things so seriously!

Hey - these self-reflection questions and answers must be good for the soul!

I am good presently but, in a passive way. I give people (whoever comes to me) suggestions about tackling their problems. But I wish I could do something concrete to bring happiness all around. I feel lack of energy in me. Its like 'spirit is willing but the flesh is weak' kind of thing. (Though I am not old only middle-aged).

I wish I were more outgoing and living a real life, not wasting it in front of computer or dreaming whole time. I know I have it in me and others also believe I can achieve great heights if only I apply myself....I wish I had unlimited energy source to drive me. I'd be a better person and help improve others' life as well.

I would go to one of the poorest deprived areas of the world and spend the rest of my life helping them - instead of sitting in front of this computer wasting my time.
