A-Rod and his agent spent a lot of time in LA this past month and the Angels are one of just a few teams that can afford him, you might be on to something.

like i said before if the angels do get him they should not try and fit him under their salary cap currently they would need to expand otherwise the surrounding cast just isnt going to cut it and they'll end up like the rangers

lol

i love how its not considered that a rod can displace players from their positions and that he has to be 3B now

he is a gold glove short stop who moved only cause of jeter

so to think he can't get rid of orlando cabrera or chone figgins or anyone gimme a break

now it would be smart to get rid of figgins cause he is not the producer cabrera is but . . .

i personally think a team may be able to entice a rod by getting him back to short stop

if he does go to the angels, does he DH? Play 3B? Play SS? I guess I could see him playing 3B and moving Figgens to LF or RF and have Vlad or Anderson DH next year. I don't see him moving back to SS. I don't think he wants to DH. I personally would like to see A-Rod on the Angels, I think he would fill in thier whole for a power guy quite well.

if Arod goes to angels he'll have to play 3B with Figgins in center. Garrett Anderson will probably be shifted to a platoon situation at DH.
