First answer probably correct. Length and Furnishings. Mega says a Twin Screw, so, two Diesels Engines alone not cheap then the Transmissions to hook up to. AC, Refrigerator, Freezer and Blah, Blah. The actual boat hull is debatable depending on material. May be similar to building a house if a person build it and not hire this. It all the little things that make it comfortable and a pretty boat.

Depends on the yacht and the builder/ shipyard. Many yachts over about 100 feet have interiors that cost millions by themself. The taste and requirements of use will dictate many additional costs. Electronics alone can cost hundreds of thousands, so the sky is the limit
