I dont know why I keep recommending these. But Identity and Butterfly effect were such fabulous movies. You have no idea whats going to happen.

Lots of movies that I like. There is no best movie for me only lots of best movies. Some move me emotionally and spiritually (Schindlers List, Passion of Christ) while others for their humour (Seven year itch, American Pie, Toy Story), some for the sheer adrenaline (Kill Bill, Die Hard, Rocky 1&2), some for the special effects (Star Wars, Independence day).

May sound silly to some, but the best movie i have seen would have to be "Schindlers list"

If any one can watch this powerfull movie and not be completely moved to tears - they have no heart.

Also "Passion of the Christ", ( yes im a christian) for the same reasons. Even if your not a "churchgoer" you will still be moved and shocked at the torture ( no other word for it) that Jesus Christ suffered.

United 93.
I know it's depressing, but when a movie makes you stay in your seat and watch it, it's got to be pretty freaking good.

Let me also add that I didn't want to watch it. It came on HBO, and I was curious and ended up stuck on the sofa. On top of that, I was at work and had to answer phones. I just let them ring. The movie was that good.
