A season is one of the major divisions of the year, generally based on yearly periodic changes in weather.
In temperate and polar regions generally four seasons are recognized: spring, summer, autumn (fall), and winter.
In some tropical and subtropical regions it is more common to speak of the rainy (or wet, or monsoon) season versus the dry season, as the amount of precipitation may vary more dramatically than the average temperature.
In other tropical areas a three-way division into hot, rainy and cool season is used. In some parts of the world, special "seasons" are loosely defined based upon important events such as a hurricane season, tornado season or a wildfire season.

There is nothing exact about it - that's just the way it happened - and we accept the changing seasons as normal - and the plants and animals have adapted to them. Don't forget that they don't have seasons at the equator - same all the time. It's just like saying - isn't it wonderful that we happen to have ears in just the exact place to rest our spectacles!

In what way is it exact? It is what it is. If it had been different, we would have had different seasons. If we had had different seasons, various forms of life would have evolved differently.
There's no reason to assume it was the work of a god.

What do you say it is exact?
If it was less or more, creatures would have just evolved to adapt to it and we would have known no difference.
God becomes the answer when people don't understand the question.
