I just saw him speak. I really liked his personality along with his ways of dealing with current issues such as health care, the war in Iraq and overall change for the U.S. What are some reasons you think he would or would not be a good president of the United States?

When he spoke, he did not have a prepared speech. He spoke what was on his mind and heart.

Why not? Anyone could be a good President as long as they keep their good promises and turn the nation into a better place to live in.

Hmm, isn't John Edwards a psychic ? I'm in Australia so if it's actually another politician you're talking about, I don't know it.
If Edwards the psychic had been president, the ghost of the dead Kurds would have been able to tell him that there were no weapons of mass destruction, and that Bush was just a spiteful brat trying to do payback for his Daddy. That idiot Sadam Insane would still be keeping a kind of sick order in Iraq, and all our brave women and men (Australia sent them too) would be alive and at home.

Just because someone can read a prepared speech well does not mean they would make a good president for America, John Edwards is a Lawyer who has made millions suing people. Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton are proof that a lawyer should never be president.

'Edwards, a former Democratic senator from North Carolina, says the federal government should underwrite universal pre-kindergarten, create matching savings accounts for low-income people, mandate a minimum wage of $9.50 and provide a million new Section 8 housing vouchers for the poor. He also pledged to start a government-funded public higher education program called "College for Everyone."'
Matching savings accounts? He seriously wants to GIVE AWAY money to 'the poor'... that is just begging for fraud...
If you think too many jobs are being outsourced, just wait until minimum wage is at $9.50...
Seeing as public high schools have worked out so well.. lets have college for everyone... lets see.. $30,000 per person, and we'll say 20,000 students... that's only 600 million dollars.. per school... per year.................
And housing vouchers.... under Edwards you'll get free housing and more food stamps... why work!!?
This is such blatant ad populum crap! I'm proud of the American people for not being sucked in by this socialist slime ball.

I think he would be a huge improvement over George W. Bush, but that is not really saying much.
