Now that Ferrari will be supplying the engines and chassis in A1GP from 2008, will Team ITA suddenly become Top Contender?

And will the Tifosi support A1GP?

I don't think so. F1 and A1 are not the same, for one thing and right now in F1, Ferrari don't get special treatment. More tifosi may support A1, but there's always been tifosis in A1.

To TopGear'sbiggestfan, tifosi is an Italian word to describe a group of fans. So, Ferrari fans are usually known as 'tifosi'!

I don't think so. I'm not so sure about the Tifosi as A1 is still new and maybe with Ferrari's interest people may start paying attention to this series. Team Italy will not have the upper hand. It's ALL teams that will receive the same engine and chassis. The rest is up to each team to create an advantage for themselves.

Nope, they all get the same engine and chassis but the aerodynamics and settings are up to the teams. As far as I know, don't the A1 Italian team already have tifosis? So yeah the A1 Italian team's tifosis I would say will continue supporting them. Btw, tifosis are Italian fans of teams from Italy but since Ferrari has such a huge International fan base/following, their fans are often referred to as tifosis but with a different title, like if you're German and support Ferrari, you can refer to yourself as a German Tifosi.

I don't think so. It's still a spec series even if Ferrari is the constructor. The other teams will figure out fast set-ups even if Ferrari has a slight inside track in that regard.

as in to say that the guys a ferrari might say "pssssst .... set the timing to this" or "adjust the this to that" ? im sure they might, depends on weather their national pride overwhelms their business sense, because there is a lot of money in supplying an entire series with cars and engines

not sure if team Italy will be given preferential treatment in A1GP, but when they all become Ferraris, the entire A1GP grid will be given preferential treatment by the FIA
