..I just learned about this kid you have named David Murphy. He was a beast in college, and he was a beast in about 100 ABs last season. Just how good is he, and what are the Rangers plans for him next season (since they already have Byrd in center)

David Matthew Murphy (born October 18, 1981, in Houston, Texas) is an American professional baseball player. He was drafted in the 1st round of the 2003 draft by the Boston Red Sox, out of Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He was a 21-year-old outfielder when drafted.
Called up by the Rangers from the AAA Oklahoma RedHawks on August 11, Murphy has played for the Single A Lowell Spinners, the Single A Sarasota Red Sox, the rookie-level Gulf Coast Red Sox, Double A Portland Sea Dogs, the AFL Peoria Saguaros, and the Triple A Pawtucket Red Sox.[1]
In 2006, Murphy played 42 games for the Sea Dogs before being promoted to Pawtucket on May 26. While at Portland, Murphy had 47 hits in 172 at-bats (.273 AVG), with 17 doubles, 1 triple, 3 home runs, 25 RBI, and 11 walks. Through August 8 with Pawtucket, David has appeared in 66 games, going 69-for-249 (.277 AVG), with 19 doubles, 5 triples, 7 home runs, 38 RBI, and 39 walks. Comparing his stats from Portland to Pawtucket, David has improved his OBP from .315 to .371.[2]
On July 31, 2007, Murphy was traded to the Texas Rangers in a deal that brought relief pitcher Eric Gagné to Boston.

actually we will have lots of money to fill in the needs that we have and murphy was awesome last year some have compared him to tthe next rusty greer.
