You'll be fined by the immigration authorities upon exiting the country for everyday of overstaying in the Philippines. I forgot how much they would charge per day, but you can check their list of fees in the their website www.immigration.gov.ph. Genereally, as long as you leave the country without any outstanding charges, you shouldn't have a problem entering the Philippines during your next visit. To make sure you steer clea of any inconvenience, just have your visa extended at the Bureau of Immigration, it's something you can get done in one day.

You will be fined. Do not make it a habit, it can get expensive.
Also note that being polite and respectful will go a long way toward making your problems lessen. All the immigration people need to do is label you "undesirable" and you can be ejected from The Philippines for ten years.
Always remember.....You are a guest here.....act like you would want a guest to act in your "home"

i think for a day, Immigration will not hunt you unless your neighbor will tell the immigration. But when it's about time to process your paper going back to where you from, you will be paying penalties. depend on the days you stayed longer.

I don't think they will reject you a visa during your next visit. Philippines attracts more tourist to come. But still you should not over stay even for a day to avoid penalty and those immigration people who will ask for a bribe. penalty is not too much compare to the bride they ask.

eg. if for example, you have to pay USD50 penalty/day of stay, the bribe will be higher than that USD100.

Where are you from? I overstayed my visa (forgot to renew) and when I renewed at the Bureau of Immigration I was charged a P500 fine for the overstay. I am an American. Although I will not make the mistake again, it really wasn't a big deal.

hello,
if you overstay, you'll pay the penalty per each day.besides of the fact of being fined, it will be very difficult for you to get next visa, and not only to Philippines, as the officers are not so kind as to let the person who had just overstayed visa enter their country. it's a risk for them that you'll do the same there.

You will have to bribe the proper Philippine authorities for that. Most probably the bureau of immigration. Before doing that, go to your country's embassy to ask for assistance.
