Question

here is a few ideas to make the world free of terror and terrorists.
BACKGROUND: nobody can win thr war agains terrorists, and that is a fact. we may keep trying and spend money spend our lives and time but we can never be free of terrorists.
MY SUGGESTION: lets negociate with them and give them an island far away to live in, lets deport all terrorists there from all over the world. the shall have food and water , they can grown thier own crops, but never have any ammunition. we should also sterilise them so that they will have no offsprings.
the moment a country captures a terrorist they should send them to the island
THE UN CAN TAKE CARE OF THIS ISLAND.

WHAT DO U THINK??? WILL IT WORK??
PLS I NEED YO SUPPOER IF MANY PPL AGREE
MAYBE THIS MIGHT BE OUR WAY TPO HAPPINESS.

i think this is very good idea and most of the ppl answering the question seem to be too be too conventional. terrorism is an unconventional war and we need unconventional methods.

i fully agree with the original poster, at least there is no harm in trying the idea instead of bit''ing at the original poster.

Well, I quite appreciate this kind of concern towards world's health, which is deteriorating every passing day. But you see, the reason why terrorists do something like they are upto is not that they want a separate land or something. It's injected into their minds that by killing few culprits alongwith masses of innocent people they will get direct entry into the heaven, which is completely their misconception. And you know what, their problem is more psychological rather than physical so it's absolutely impossible that anything of that sort could ever happen. But who knows, maybe what I am thinking is one side of it and on the other side, may be it seems to be feasible.
But as far as I perceive all this, I can't imagine it to be happening.

I agree with your premise, but your ideas suck.

You can't just say "oh, let's go negotiate with terrorists". Um they are terrorists, and you are probably just a punk *** white kid and they will most likely kill you before you can learn Arabic.

Why don't you just round up all the Arabs and stick them in a zoo? That is basically what you are suggesting...

And you are talking about sticking every Muslim on the planet on one island right? (there are like 1 billion Muslims in the world i think. I recommend you try for Australia)

For one thing no-one is going to agree to go to an island, have to grow their own food, and be sterilized. Why would they? What is it that you think you can offer them to get them to do it? If its such a good idea why don't you try it first?
And as to forcing them to go to such a place, that would be against the Geneva Convention, and come under the improper treatment of prisoners. You wouldn't be an American, by any chance? Sounds a bit like Guantonimo Bay to me.

Terrorism is mostly caused by ultra nationalism or ultra idealism, that has its roots in a country.

Therefore, it is impossible for your idea to work.

How are you going to negotiate with "them"? Who is "them"? They are not one united body. Even if you negotiate with one group, there are going to be others. How would you get them to accept this anyway?
