what's wrong with being a bit heavy and wearing glasses?
Does she have a sense of humor? Does she know that she is pretty? Remember, fat and glasses doesn't make one ugly.
People ask me online if I'm in shape. I answer, sure i'm in shape. Round is a shape.
Sense of humor and liking oneself goes a long way.
Ever seen the movie "Take the Lead"? its about troubled youth learning ballroom dancing. In that movie there is a little skinny guy who falls for a full-bodied girl.
Great movie and worth a watch by all ;)
Keep your head on straight, have fun and quit worrying. If things are going to happen they will.
Lastly, make it known you like him. Just don't do it in front of all his friends as you will most likely get a different reaction.

If being "kinda fat" or having glasses is a serious issue in getting a person interested, I doubt if that person's worth the girl's interest.
