Can any of you provide evidence, that can be tested to back up your claim? If so you will most likely win next year's Nobel Prize. So what are you waiting for? Publish your the results of your research. It would be the discovery of the century. At least as important as men on the Moon!
Won't or can't, no surprise. Talk is cheap people.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.

There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
Deuteronomy (18:10,11) King James version.

Astrology, channeling, Ouija boards, predicting the future, and much else is forbidden. The author of Deuteronomy does not argue that such practices fail to deliver what they promise. But they are "abominations" - perhaps suitable for other nations, but not for the followers of God.

I think most writing and myths have some basis in fact. They may be interpretations of the people of the time of events that actually happened. In the case of astrology, they were probably trying to explain common characteristics amoung people.
The symbology of the Bible is going to get hashed around as long as we still can debate.

Yes.

Disclaimer: Remember, we're pluralists here. We don't want to cause hurt feelings but we want to be academically factual. If you're the type who's so rigid that he/she would start throwing a tantrum after being told differently what authority has told you, I advise you stop reading right now.

According to myth, Dionysus of Greece (800 B.C., yes the god of wine who materialized into mortal form) who was known to have turned water into wine, was referred to as the Messiah, was born on December the 25th, or the end of the shortened winter solstice. In addition, his birth was signaled by a star in the east and was thus adorned by three kings. When Dionysus died, he was resurrected after 3 days.

Also, Horus of Egypt, (2000 years B.C.) who incidentally was also born on December the 25th of the Virgin Isis Mary, celebrated his birthday with a signal from a star on the east and was thus adorned by three kings. He was a teacher at 12. After being betrayed by Typhon, Horus was crucified, died and was resurrected. Horus had 12 disciples and was known to have been able to walk on water.

What does this have to do with Astrology? Glad you asked.

The prevailing commonality with why these gods all have the same describing factors goes back to the Sun. On the winter solstice, the Sun 'dies' on December the 23, 24, and 25th, and ends up in parallel to the 'crux' constellation where it cannot be seen most of the time from the earth, hence the sun dying on the cross. During the winter solstice, a star in the east, "Sirius" points out to the direction of where the "sun/son of God" will be "born again", after it dies for three days. During this time of the year, Sirius will be followed by or aliign with the three stars of Orion's belt, also known as the Three Kings, in both ancient and present time. The number 12 is repeated throughout the bible (12 brothers of Joseph, teacher at 12, 12 apostles) in reference to the 12 signs of the zodiac.

Also, the 'recurring' fish symbol that you often see commonly associated with Jesus, is in reference to the Piscean age of the zodiac.)

When you have "researched" and found astrology to be true then you have done good, however, why are you asking others opinion......?

Secondly what is the necessary to drag and insert astrology in to the Holy Bible? Astrology is in its place and Bible is in its place. Please don't create a new "MESS".

Yep 100% - according my my opinions and life experiences.

I was trained by one of the (formerly) highest paid astrologers in the world. This guy used to use astro to play the stock market.
Some of the things he's showed me are mindblowing...

As far as the bible, well.. certain christian groups scream "witchcraft" at the very notion- I however refuse to believe that the devil (if such a character exists) controls the heavens/astral bodies, and the messages they convey to us.
