because you are my wife & will always be.we should give it another shot b/cuz i love you & regret all my wrongdoings."

We are never married but lived together for 4 years & the house is mind. The relationship is over long time & i have been living in another country for a year now. He hasn't given up on me but too bad cuz i've made up my mind. He did me wrong too many times before & it took me years to finally get over him so starting a-new with him is no longer my best bet.

I have the option to be home early next year & this statement makes me think to go elsewhere instead but i hate it b/c its my house.

Thank you all.

Note: Not sure if this is the right section.

i finally have the guts to quit on him after a few months of settling in another country hence we were still together up to the last day before my flight...for the record, he no longer makes it as a real home (some reasons why i have to quit) for the last 1 year or so; however he has his things there & now that i have moved on-he comes begging to start again & was so sorry for all the pain he caused.

if the house is exclusively in your name, call the sheriff, provide documentary proof, and have him thrown out--IF THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT.

Whose name is on the house deed?

If yours, have all his stuff piled at the curb and change all the locks, and send a certified letter to him to collect anything he wishes to keep. Notify the city trash collector that the stuff is there to be hauled away. But see the caveat below on court involvement which may be required. Depends a little on if there is a legal contract expressed or implied, which may vary from place to place.

If the house is jointly owned, you probably have to go to court and the outcome depends on who has the best lawyers.

If he owns the house, then you had best get your stuff you want out immediately and in safe storage, and then advise him by certified letter keeping a copy for yurself you are done with the occupancy, and are not returning. This may also need a lawyer to be sure things are properly severed.

I have had to evict a couple times from houses I owned, and go through a court proceedings. One place I had to bribe the sheriff also to get action on the court order!! Today's big city ethics.

Be very careful to have full legal support when you toss his stuff out and change locks!! Otherwise he can take YOU to the cleaners.

He needs to know that playtime is over. Give him a date to move out, and if he hasn't by that date have him kicked out. He could probably be arrested for trespassing, or at least you can tell him that. As for him being sorry for his wrongdoings, he needs to learn a lesson that his actions carry consequences that he cannot escape from. In this case, that he can no longer have a relationship with you, and live in your house.

Your BF leaving things in your house only leaves the door open for him to find some reason to return. If you really want the relationship over put his stuff in a box and tell him you are leaving it in front of the house and has x- amount of days to pick it up before you call the trash company.

If you really want to start over and the house is in your name and he is not paying rent, sell the house. He will have to get out then. Or you could sell the house to a relative or friend that he doesn't know and they could take all of his possessions when they "try to move in." Then they can sell you the house back once he is out plus your friend would own everything in the house that your Ex had in there.

Ok, You OWN the house!

If he won't take his things and leave, go to the police, legally if you ask someone clearly to leave, and they don't, they are breaking the law. Tell him very clearly to take his things and leave (but give him like a week maybe, depending on how much stuff he has), because he is mooching off you (unless he is paying rent) and it's your house.

Don't you dare give up and go somewhere else, you have every legal right to throw him out because you own the house.

have a big yard sale. invite him LOl

Go rent a storage in his name and maybe pay for the first months rent on it?

Donate it to charity. But it sounds like he's leaving the stuff there at your house just to have a "hold" on you. You have moved on and I'd instruct him to do so as well. Give him a letter stating that if in 30 days he does not remove his belongings you will dispose of it.

Time to lay down the Law. If the home is indeed in your name he can and should be removed legally from the home. When you go to your local Sheriff / Police dept. they will send someone with you to remove him also $25 bucks and you have a restraining order as well which I would do being that he sounds to be free loading off you. Please do not allow this person to make you accommodate HIM and further.

he just doesn't want to get the hell out of your house and find something new. if this is your house and he isn't registered there i would go stright to police and tell them he isn't wanted there anymore. they would come with u and assist him to get the hell out of your house with all his junk. do not waste your time on that loser. if he really was so into u and wanted things to work out between u 2 he would have got out of the house with all his junk and started dating u again, like normal people do. he seems to be just a loser who doesn't want to find another apartment
