I agree with FRAGINAL...it's a conspiracy theory which has no merit whatsoever.

I'm a bit of a conspiracy buff myself, but I take it like I take astrology or tarot card readings. Interesting but not a single shred of convincing evidence. Laughable at times.
Large bureaucracies are slow, inept and all to a certain extent corrupt in some way (jobs for the boys, nepotism, whatever). Do you really think a huge apparatus like the US government could pull off a stunt like that without it being exposed within a fraction of a second? Just think of how many people would have to be involved for an "inside job" like that to be successful. All the coordination and planning. I don't buy it at all. The conspiracy theories are good for a horse laugh, but that's about all.
Bureaucracies are barely capable of writing legible letters much less orchestrating things like the 9/11 attacks.
What you must understand is that unexplained things happen even in the most strictly controlled laboratory experiments. Even if there are grounds for question about the 9/11 attacks, consider that.

I've heard about it, but it makes no sense.
Why would we want a constant state of emergency in the Middle East?
It only drives up oil prices which gets people angry at the president.
If there were such a reason (to keep the Middle East in a constant state of emergency), the reason should be so overwhelmingly compelling that it would justify the most hideous, murderous betrayal in all of US History.
Can you even think of such a reason?
As I said, the conspiracy theory makes no sense.

The 9/11 tragedy fit so well in the neocons plans that naturally there are suspicions and urban tales generated and fuelled by actions taken by the government, after the attack.
Far fetched as they seem, I would not be cynical enough to entertain the thought. However, I do think the government knew something was going on and not thinking it would be as extensive as it was, they just allowed it to happen because it suited their agenda to a tee. Fit like a glove.

It was interesting but lacked hard evidence, and a lot of it. There is just too much hard evidence pointing the other way, and to many terrorists happy to claim the attack.
