No facts don't remain the same. Look at the medical history how scientists and doctors come up with these "medical facts" yet they are constantly changing the more they discover new things. So in turn they are not facts at all but merely guess work, medical opinions and theories. Some facts change and others remain the same. It just depends on what the subject of the matter is. =)

I am sure whether I understand the question right. Because I have a feeling that i don't understand it completly. Plz tell me if i misinterpret it.

I don't think facts remain the same. Facts never does. I don't what 'their own facts means' but, ....

For example, Our ancestors believed that the world was flat. And it was a big dogma even after they figured out that it was acually round. They thought it was flat and it was not a fact, it was a widely accpeted opinio that they thought was a fact.

People sometimes think that their opinions r the facts and refuse to change is even though they might be wrong.

I guess true facts have the power to change opinions, if we are ready to accept them !

A very oft repeated story of a 'half empty' or 'half full' glass - well both are true - you choose to accept either one, depending on your need and perception. we do see lower court judgements overturned by higher courts and then may be restored again by supreme court. Now in such cases, it is the lawyers' presentation of 'facts' and the judges' 'opinions'. Both change in above instances. I do not think we get to know any unadulterated fact these days. What we hear is almost always from one's view point and therefore a biased fact.

Facts are facts but we all have our own way of verbalizing them, If you don't think so . Look into the first 4 books of the New Testament , they all wrote about the same thing , but, in the way they perceived it.

Well of course. It is like saying "computers are made out of wood" when that is obviously not the case.
