personally i am, yes i will say it before i rant on, I am a Patriot fan. but whether its the patriots this year, colts of 2004, or the rams of 1999, who cares!?! these guys are paid professionals this isnt little league where you can discourage the other team and feel bad about it.
if you dont like it, then stop them, if you dont like the way someone celebrates touchdowns(ocho cinco/T.O.) keep them out.
this would of never happened if "Man-Geneious" didnt drop dimes on "the hoodie" and if Tomlinson and the Chargers didnt keep popping off about the Pats being Cheaters, classless, and disrespectful.(every team has done all three)
heck even 2nd string Matt Cassel scored this week and 3rd string Kyle Eckle rushed for a TD against dallas. is it really the Pats fault if opponents are having trouble stopping bench players during garbad time?

This is for Froggy and his Cowboy loving @$$. did you even watch Pats V Cowboys?
i didnt say the pats are unbeatable...actually the Colts has a very good chance they are playing on the same level...but the cowboys? please dude...lets take a trip down memory lane.
the game was lost after the boys took the lead 24-21 with 10:25 left in the third. after that the pats scored 17 unanswered points and outscored them 27 to 3. sure the game was close at one point but thats why they play 4 QUARTERS!.
oh and for your penalty excuse, were you dropped on the head? fact is great teams and players cause penalties. shaq gets fouled for a reason, bonds gets walked for a reason and in week 6 the cowboys had half a dozen holding calls because they couldnt contain the pats D-line. oh and time of possesion Pats 38:15 to Dallas 21:45...but your right it WAS a close game....whatever gets you through the night buddy.

I can't stand it when they stop scoring on purpose. I mean, yes I would have taken the starters out when you are up by 40, but if your second string is good enough to score, HAVE AT IT!!
These guys don't get to play that often, go to it!

I'm tired of Patriots fans backing their team for running up the score. If this were any other team doing it, it would be an outrage by you and the rest of the football world. Lets say Dallas starts running up the score. (And they do have the ability), then all of a sudden its classless & Romo & TO needs to get hurt to prove a point, but since its your Pats its ok. Dallas could have ran up the score on Minnesota but chose to run out the clock up by 10. Dallas also had opportunites against St Louis 35-7, Chicago 34-10 & Miami 37-20. If you're up 38-0 in the 4th quarter with 6 min to play, you don't leave your starters in the game. No one in the past has done this so stop whining about your cheating scandal & just play this game with class. By the way, Tom Brady won't make it out of this season if this continues.
As for the person who said the Dallas game against the Patriots wasn't close. It was 31-24 with 12 min left in the 4th quarter. We weren't overmatched by the D-line but it was vice versa. they sacked Brady 3 times & continued to pressure. Cowboys just penalyze alot. They had the same amount of penalties against Chicago and blasted them. Does that mean we were overmatched by Chicago?? Had they not got that cheap TD at the end it would've ended 41-27 & the game still was closer than the score. They will meet again. Then again maybe not with those Colts out there!!!

i dont really honestly about them complaining or the Pats (Brady, Moss or any of them) to be honest. But when your playing against a team each week the other team should be preparing better each week instead of getting bent out of shape that the Pats are scoring at will. Get your offense in gear to score some points or heck how about the defense doing its job and stopping them...52 points given up by the Redskins. Their defense was supposed to be way better than that.
They are playing the game all the way through again i dont care for the Pats personally but they are running on all cylinders and the other teams run out of gas after the first quarter it seems.
The other teams need to get it in gear and quit complaining. Because a team (Pats) are playing a full 60 minutes and not slacking off because they are ahead.
thats all i gotta say on that

Yes After all, Offensive players play to score points. People bring up what if Tom gets hurt .....a bunch of what if's.....that's how it is in life.....life is unpredictable. Too many people bring up scenarios that might not even happen. I just see a lot of Patriots bashing. A lot of holier than thou people pointing the finger at the team. A lot of teams have blown out people and weren't given crap about it like the Colts. This is NFL...this isn't pop warner. If they don't want the Patriots to score, then the defense should play better. Having starters in there is not necessarily bad...especially if they want to stay sharp. Also.....there is such thing as comebacks. Anything could happen in the NFL. Nobody expected a 6th round draft pick to replace Drew Bledsoe and lead the Patriots to win 3 Super Bowls.

the dallas game was much closer than the score and honest pats fans know it. Dallas really killed themselves vs NE 100+ yds in penalties. there is no excuse for that it was still a ballgame with 4 mins to go when romo threw the bad int. NE was the better team that day not arguing that just dont act like the pats are unbeatable

This is what I call extreme B.S. People are so freaking dumb. There is the new Evil vs. Good thing that has come up. The Colts represent dignity, and charity...The Pats represent arrogance and unsportsmanlike conduct. Whatever...I want people to find one flaw in the pats. There are idiots that say, well they don't run very well. Are you crazy? Has that affected their game in any way. 8 weeks without the "need" to run. They're winning, why? THey don't have flaws.
So, people go into the moral issues. Belichick is heartless, and is very snarly when it comes to media. They are proving a point to the NFL and are getting angry when they were caught cheating...yea yea yea...SHUT UP.
When it comes to a point where the team is so good, that you talk about things like that, its shameful. This is the NFL. If you can't stop them, whine about it. Don't talk about morals.

1. This is entertainment! Its fun to see TDs!
2. If teams have a problem with getting scored on- get a better defense
3. These guys are paid professionals, this is a little league game where we have to protect anyone's feelings.
More teams should run up the score. You're all jealous!

I totally agree. The Pats took out Brady at the appropriate time, I thought, and they still continued to score. It's really dumb to complain, because like you sort of said, everybody in the sport is a paid professional.

I only see them scoring late as a problem when you're up big and you don't need your starters in the game to risk injuries. Of course anything can happen and a team can score 28 pts in the 4th quarter but how often does that happen, and if the momemtum switch, you bring back your starters. I'm only saying, you should rest your stars if you're ahead to prevent injuries, sooner or later, you will see one of them get hurt late because of useless drive.
