Other than drums that is.

Mine would probably be Horns.

And what producer do you think samples each instrument the best?

Horns - Pete Rock... no one even close.

Piano - RZA or DJ Premier.

Violins - Dre and Eminem both use them well, Kanye uses them probably better though, u really notice them live.

Guitars - I would say Dre, there are others though, just songs off of 2001 keep popping in my head.

Fav. Instrument- iono... horns i guess... you can make a beat real extravagant if you use horns right.

Producer: I agree with you on Pete Rock on the horns, but I think Dr. Dre is the most rounded out producer. He's studied *A LOT* of music theory and he's pretty good with just about everything (except for horns strangely) He can work a synth, piano, strings, drums... he does his thing

I'm a total piano fan. Wether it be Mobb Deep, a RZA beat a D.J. Premier beat, a Pete Rock beat, a Alchemist beat even Dre uses piano. If it's mostly piano driven I like it.

Oh yeah, my fave song with piano has got to be Make The Music With Your Mouth Biz by Biz Markie. I like Marley Marl's use of the piano from Ike's Mood by Isaac Hayes. That's a classic right there

I was gonna be a smart *** and answer this question by saying some negative things about today's hip hop, but the folks you named are true hip hop, not like the over produced, studio magic of today.

Anytime I wanna hear rap I put on Dre, or Eazy, or Getto Boys, or Rakim.

So... to answer your question, I'd say piano, and I liked Biz Markie's use of it!!

I play the piano, and I do like piano-based beats, but I like horns and orchestrated beats that sound real epic, you know? Pete Rock did his thing back in the day, but Just Blaze has the present day locked

Like Juelz Santana's "The Second Coming" produced by Just Blaze

"The King Back" by T.I.

"I'm Talkin To You" by T.I.
