Yes. My dad had a cabinet with shot guns and rifles (never locked), kept a .22 by the back door, and carried a colt .45 under his arm and a small automatic strapped to his ankle most days, both of which sat on the marble top cabinet when he wasn't carrying them - I remember picking them up to dust under them most weekends (my dad worked for the government). Amazingly, no accidents occurred. I don't even remember who taught me how to handle guns and shoot - maybe it was osmosis. Not my favorite thing in the world - ironically, I was always good at it.

Yes - pepper spray - had to use it a few times too. Nasty stuff.

Yes - my maternal step-grandpa loved to fish and taught me how.

Yes - I'm pathetically sentimental and save everything.

Yes - love them - used to do Times crossword every morning on the train to NYC when I was working there.

(I'm not a senior yet, but hopefully I'll get there - so I answered ahead of time!!! ;)

Fired a gun? - Yes, when I was 17 a boyfriend tried to teach me to fire a gun. We were aiming at the back of his garage. Probably not the best target. That's the last time I ever held one.

Own a stun gun or pepper spray? Used to carry a little canister of pepper spray.

Fly fished? - No. I've done lots of fishing, but not fly fishing.

Save letters and post cards? - Yes, to this day.

Do you like crossword puzzles? I do, but don't spend as much time on them. I may do a Saturday paper puzzle, but not Sunday's. During the winter months I'll pick up a puzzle book or two for snow days.

Yes, I have fired a gun. 30 rounds - scored zero - the guy next to me scored 50 with 30 rounds - weird.

I inherited a postcard collection started by my grandfather - probably worth a fortune now.

I save letters; especially from important people or first day covers.
I haven't owned a stun gun or pepper spray or done fly fishing. Crosswords are boring.

Yes loved target practice. I am a very good shot as are my children. I own a stun gun at present. I have fly fished and caught two trout. Rarely have the chance for fly fishing. I used to save letters but only the rare one these days. Am an avid crossword puzzler. I like them to be hard enough to be a challenge. Slower at them than I used to be but still pretty accurate. Helps the vocabulary.

Fired a gun?...Yes, rifles, semi automatics, pistols, and a fully automatic H&K 90 (that one packs a wallop, I will tell you that. As a yachtsman in the 80's, touring the Caribbean and Bahamas, I had a full aresenal aboard...Pirates were a very real threat, and was attacked one time...they did NOT get my boat! Carried a 8 shot 25cal semi small pistol whenever on the streets of Washington DC...necessity, I am afraid!

Stun gun/spray...no!
Fly Fished...played at it, but never really got into it.
Save letters/post cards? Got into too much trouble once over that little game...never again! Ashamed to say it, but it ended two marriages, and that is more than collateral damage in my book!
Crosswords: Yes, in ink, daily, but not Sunday! I have better things to do on Sunday than sit for 2 hours to work out one of those monsters!
Peace and love, Phil
