Absolutely. Everyone who contributed from the trainers to the players, even if they only played one game, gets a ring. The real question is whether the players will vote Buchholz with a full World Series share. The players vote on who gets a full share, half share or no share. Buchholz, Gabbard, and certain others may not get full shares. It is up to the players.

He did spend time in the majors so management will vote on whether he gets one or not.
Any player or coach that was with the team any time during the season. All office personnel (even secretaries). Field maintenance - team doctors and trainers. Managers of minor league team affiliates.

Yes. Any player who played for the Red Sox this year will get a ring. Nomar got a ring in 04 even though he was traded to the Cubs.

Ya, they can basically give rings to anyone they want to. In 04 Jery Remy, Don Orsillo, and WALLY got rings. (Wally is the team mascot)
