What causes weak stream if you are not old? I've noticed that it has gotten a little weaker which just means it takes a little longer at the urinal. There's no pain and it doesn't affect anything else. Is it a nutritional imbalance or something?

@david w: No, like I said, there's no pain. My lower abdomen does not feel or look larger either.

there MIGHT be something causing a partial blockage or a kidney problem that is developing. Best to see a doctor and get yourself checked out.

There could be a few reasons, do you drink plenty of water because that has a lot to do with how you pass urine. Is there any pain as you urinate? Does your lower abdomen feel bigger just before you want to urinate, if so you have a problem that you need to see your doctor about, urgently.

The problem then is probably a sphincter valve problem which may require surgery. It is best not to wait too long for treatment as this problem may cause you some distress.
