I think its a personal choice that should not be influenced by others in any way. I think the "cool" thing is to be how u want to be and be happy that way. If you are completely happy being a virgin then that is cool. If you are completely happy not being a virgin then that is just as cool.

I am a guy, and I think a girl being a virgin is very cool indeed. I agree that a girl, or a woman, 15, or 150, that hasn't gotten married should keep her legs closed. Intercourse is not the only way to love a woman. There are many things a guy can do to demonstrate "love" without resorting to sex.

i get what you mean. no matter what anyone says the public and peers of the virgin are the ones who dont think its cool. of course your mom will think its cool ya know?
i agree with you. it should be the coolest thing ever but there is so much sex in the world. its used to sell almost everything!

I think the opposite is coming around. When you get into your 20s (and even marriage age...a little later 20s), virgins get a lot of the attention and get a huge amount of respect, mostly because they're so hard to find. At my age, it's more respectable to be a virgin.

Yeah I think being a virgin should be cool! I also think losing your virginity to the right person who you are going to spend the rest of your life with is cool too.. But those people who walk around bragging about all the people they have been with are pretty stupid in my opinion!

girls these days want their friends to think the rebels and bad ***'s so if they get into a new croud of friends and they have all had sex then what do you think is going to go through their minds"well these people are the coolest kids in their school and if im like them then ill be cool" so they go out and have sex i think thats how all that got started. and boys think about it as yes im finally not a virgin girls will like me better cause im more experinced so they go around telling their friends and its a chain reaction . . . in my eyes being none as a "virgin" would be alot better than being none as a slut.

Women in these modern times are easily more promiscuous (easy to get) men enjoy them but have a little less respect for them when they are too easy.
I have enjoyed several virgins and they were in their twenties - so all girls are not promiscuous. They are soooooo lovely - virgin or not.

I don't think being a virgin is uncool, but I don't look down on someone if they've had sex. But if someone sleeps with everyone in town, that's a different story entirely.

Where im from being a virgin is cool! I feel sorry for those many girls whose have lost their virginity and have regretted it. I just smile knowing that eventually im going to give my boyfriend who i love VERY much my virginity with no regrets :o)
