to make a very long story short..

I ignored a text from a co worker which I felt that this person had called me a liar. My husband read the text and replied with stop sending stupid messages.
Well this co worker didn't like that and decided to call my mother who lives with us and told her what was going on and to ask her what my problem was..

I have notified the propper people but I think I need to say Harrasment or am I over reacting?

If you have notified the proper people, that is where you stop. Any further action on your part is over reacting.

WOAH!

There are some serious "boundary issue" violations going off around there on the part of several people.

Everybody just needs to take a chill pill (or if they can't, YOU AT LEAST should...)

THEN...

Wash all of this BS away and don't worry so much about what other people think (unless they love you and are doing an intervention kind of thing - in those moments you want to REALLY pay attention.)

But otherwise, tell people to mind their own business and then make a commitment to practice what you preach.

Everything will smooth out in no time, your self-respect will comeback to you and you'll start getting it from others, too, like never before!

Good luck!

If this is a co worker and not a superior or you boss, yes it is harrasment. Even if it is, if they think your doing something wrong, thye need to deal with it proffesionally AT WORK, and your mother certainly has nothing to do with it. File a harrassment claim. Sue if you need to.

you need to talk to a supervisor there at work, first of all, and tell them that if it happens one more time you are going to file a police report and get a restraining order. Then, if they fire this person, as they probably should, get a restraining order against this person to keep them away from you.
