Hell, yeah. I think that Lowell's hitting was a big factor in the Red Sox's Series win this year--but look at the solid at-bat performance of Ellsbury, AND his outstanding fielding when it really counted.

I expected Ellsbury, but I think a lot of other guys would have deserved it more than him. Hes a wonderful player and I love him, but Lowell is amazing and he deserved it.

But Papelbon is always MVP in my book. Just look at his face when they won.

A lot of players played well. I though starting ellsbury changed the whole complexion of the lineup. Papelbon was amzing as well.

Yes i agree that they could have won it as well. i thought there were 4 ppl who coulda won that being those two plus lowell or pedroia.Lowell was very good but i really like how ellbury played and how pap pitched.
