It's an old mythology/fantasy movie starring Medusa, three blind witches, and a mechanical owl. The only part I really remember was when the main character killed medusa by making her look at her own reflection in his sheild and she turned to stone.

I think it's called "The Clash of the Titans." It features the story of Perseus and Medusa. Perseus is given an unbreakable sword and a shiny shield and is sent to find Medusa, kill her, and bring back her head. He travels the the home of the three Gray Sisters, who are blind, and who share an eye between them. Perseus steals their class eye and forces them to reveal the location of Medusa' island. Athena sends a mechanical owl to help him on his journey. Finally, after he kills Medusa, he goes back home and rescues Andromeda from this really big monster by turning it into stone.

Kind of a cool movie. Really bad effects, though. the way Pegasus flies is just terrible.

Yes, it was Clash of the Titans. It seemed a long movie to me, but I enjoyed it.
