That is a very subjective question.

For some, the events of September 11th had no impact whatsoever, and for others it did.

Here is how it changed my world - the last time I travelled and had to go through a security check in an airport in the United States, the security guard found my two small unopened containers of Tiger Balm (an ointment similar to Vick's Vapo-Rub, and not a liquid) suspicious and impounded them.

Those two containers of Tiger Balm were either destroyed or are now being used to relieve headaches, mosquito bites, and muscle pains of someone in New Jersey. This true historcial event took place in November of 2006.

Are you asking about the entire world or just the US? If you're talking about the whole world, other countries have been dealing with evil and terrorism on their home-fronts for a long time. Since 9/11, I think the countries that may have given a second thought to taking on the US, aren't so afraid of us anymore.

If you're asking how it changed the US, well, it took away our illusions. We've been pretty fortunate but now we know that we are as vulnerable as anyone else. I know that as an American, especially an American living and working abroad, I always had a sense of superiority. After all, America is the greatest country in the world and no one would dare mess with us.

Hope this helps.

It made people to become suspicious of foreigners from the middle east.. Don't u feel everything u see an Arab u have this weird feeling.. For example iborder patrol im Mexico... The gates has risen, more guards, and money has been invested... why did we do this?? Beause we are afraid that 9/11 will hapen again... The quote: We will never forget" shows how we are stupid and dumb. Why should we continu to know a tragic momenent that nearly destroy US. We should just take more precaution.I mean which teenagers or adults still remember what a threat WW2 was to us??I mean it may have put US on terriost patrol but they are forgetting other dangers. Like the natural diastersm the fires in California are stll blazing and it took forever for people to come. Also US only suspect religous Muslims but what about American??

It changed our world in more harmful ways than good. And it all basically stemmed from that bogus war for oil.
