A Red Sox fan, 10 obviously. A Rockies fan, 5 or maybe 6. It was nice to be there but they were never really in it. To the rest of baseball, no higher than a 2. A sweep, the Red Sox have won recently, a blowout in Game 1 killed the Rockies momentum, and no real compelling stories. Sure the Rockies have never been there before, but they came into existence in 1993. Todd Helton is a veteran who finally made it, but it's not like he is in the last year of his career. Maybe Schilling will announce his retirement, but other than that no big name players calling it quits from either team. The best part about this year's Series is that it is now over and 10 days from now the free agents will be free and the trade shop is open!

There were some great plays in this year's world series. Pitching was awesome for both Boston and the Rockies. To me the best play of the series was the pick off at 1st base - it was picture perfect. Rating the series, I'd give the four game sweep a nine. It might have gained a 10 had my pick - Colorado - won. But hats off to the Red Sox. They earned the win.

I rate it a 5. No, my team didn't win. I was really hoping the Rockies would take the Series all the way to 6 or at least 7.

I give this WS a 5, mainly due to the entertainment factor. The way Boston kept scoring runs throughout the series, and with Colorado nearly coming back in games 2 and 4 made a pretty good WS. Only bad part about it was that it ended in a sweep, as I picked Boston in 6.
I'm an Astros fan, but a baseball fan overall. Congrats to the Red Sox, they deserved it.

I;d rate it a 4 for excitement given how lopsided it was. I'd give a 7-8 for entertainment because the Red Sox talent was incredible to watch and the team personality was eccentric and fun to watch.
Yes I am fan of the BRS, a native New Englander and life long citizen of RSN.

9.9 but I am a Red Sox fan. The Rockies showed signs of life in games 2, 3 and 4 but the Red Sox just came up clutch every time. So good, so good, so good.

Much lower than any World Series the Yankees won. However, since the Red Sox won, I am sure the 2007 World Series DVD's should sell a lot.

Definitely a 1. There was absolutely no competition. The Red Sox absolutely crushed the Rockies. And I watched the whole friggin Series for the first time in years too...

I would rate it a 5. It seemed that the Rockies could never get in to it and the Red Sox seemed to toy with them if they got close.

Well, I would have given it an 8, but since it has increased the bitterness and uncontrolled rage ratio around here, I change that rating to a 12.
So, kudos to a fine Fall Classic.
