I guess they think we don't like him much. What did they think when people ripped Clinton apart for 8 years? Its no different than now. Elected officials are always subject to criticism in free countries.

I think that is a very interesting question. Most likely, people from other countries think we are pretty disrespectful. I believe there is a manner in which to disagree with the President and any of our elected officials in an respectful manner but that seldom happens. This site is a perfect example - simply select the politics and government category and you can read reams of hateful ranting with no real purpose.
Unfortunately, the people from other countries who don't live in the same culture we do or don't have the same rights we do will never understand how and why U.S. citizens can negatively and publicly talk about the President.
It is even more unfortunate that the people who scream about who they hate don't understand what is good about the United States and the rights we have as citizens. The United States isn't perfect. Nothing made up of human beings is but there is certainly a lot good about it and, in my opinion, worth giving of my time and talent to keep it for future generations.

If they are from another democracy, they probably don't think much about it since they do the same thing to their leadership on a daily basis. If you think the U.S. is bad, take a look at question time in any parliamentary democracy. When you have backbenchers trying to make a name by asking the toughest question of the prime minister that makes what our politicians do look like a walk in the park.
Those from dictatorships probably can't figure out what to think. They keep on waiting to see when these people speaking out are going to be carted off to some prison and disappear.

From what I've heard from my friends outside the US, the general feeling is this:
It's about time! Where were you guys in 2000?
While it's true that Americans have a reputation for being loud and obnoxious, that generally has little to do with our political activism (or lack thereof). If anything, we're seen as lazy and indulgent, and our refusal to do anything about what has transpired in the last 6 years is just evidence of that. People look at us and say, "You have this fantastic freedom of speech...you can say anything you want with impunity...and you've been silent. What a waste."

While I do not speak against our President, people from other nations are jealous because doing so is a punishable offense.

It confuse everyone.
Some think they are right.
Some were at loss and blurr.
Some with herd mentality.
But he is not the only one running the show.
When they have team A, B.and C
When the children kick him on the butts.
Actually they were kicking the butts of the teams
And not at him.
What do you think?

He deserves it, don't you think! I'd hate to see Americans not speak out, there would be chaos with that President in power, it's close now.

They think we're lucky to have freedom of speech (hope we don't lose that one!) Believe me, they hate him as much or more as many of us do, he's a dumbo and an embarrassment to this country. Can't wait till 08! Georgie jr can't leave soon enough in my opinion!
