Alright. Let's see...
Here's a checklist:
-Concealer, preferably two shades - a yellow to counteract the dark circles and a pink that matches your foundation
-Foundation
-Powder
-a nice blush that compliments your skin
-eyeshadows in white and brown (that is, if you have white skin)
-eyeliners in brown and white... yes, white.
-lipstick in whatever color you'd like. Preferably something pinkish.
-mascara in brown, black, or brown-black.
Now comes the fun part. Put the yellow concealer under your eyes to counteract any dark circles. Then put some powder on them. Add the pinkish concealer. More powder. Do your foundation and make sure that it blends well and is enough to make your skin look even. Powder your face. Put your blush on the apples of your cheeks and/or on the cheekbones. Some people put two different colors on their cheeks - a light blush on the apples and a darker color on your cheekbones. If you do both colors, take your powder brush and blend them together. You don't need to apply much pressure; just enough to blend them together. Now, put the white or cream eyeshadow all over your lid and your brow bone. Take a smaller, angled brush and put the brown color on your crease. Use the brown/black eyeliner on your top lids. Make sure that it's a bold line, but not too bold as to overwhelm your lids. Take the white eyeliner and put it on the inner lid of your bottom lid. You can put a little brown on the bottom lid if you'd like, but I wouldn't put much on it. Then do your mascara with more on the top than on the bottom lid. Then do your lips like how you'd like and you should be set to go :P
Looking "awake" is mostly about the colors on your face and how you take care of your face. If your face is puffy, then you could try wearing cold masks before you put on your make up, if you have time. Greentea helps with puffy-ness too. So basically... colors on the cheeks, pink lips, and a nice eyeliner and mascara.
that was long :P haha

White eyeliner helps to open your eyes up.
(Or a beige if you have darker skin). Make sure you DONT use any black eyeliner, since that makes your eyes look smaller and you'll look sleepy.
Put concealer under your eyes to cover possibly circles and use a fair amount of blush.
Dont overdo it with HUGE PINK CIRCLES on the sides of your face, but blush definately makes you look more alive. And its a cute way to add color to your face. Use a peachy pink lipgloss and some eyelash enhancing mascara, and vwala.

i have this problem too!
what i do is i apply a nice shimmery eyeshadow to my lids, like revlon illuminance creme shadow in precious metals 05 or revlon color stay twelve hour eyeshadow in pink opal 03
then i apply my mascara, if you want open eyes you dont want uber thick lashes so i would reach for maybelline full 'n soft
then line the inner rims of your eyes with white or silver eyeliner, like the eye pincils from l'oreal
next put on some under eye concealer for those dark circles, i like physiceans formula circle rx
nest apply some peach blush like physicians formula multi-colored corrector in peach-to-glow
and bam you look like youve had a good nights sleep
hope i helped!

put shimmer in the corner of you eye.
cure black liquid eyeliner on the top and wing it out a little.

Use concealer under your eyes with some light colored shimmer on your eyes. Nothing that takes too much time, just get an eyeshadow brush( with bristles) and swip some color on you lids. A bit of blush wont hurt, either. Also, mascara is your best friend. Promise.

Use under eye cream for puffiness and dark under eye circles. When it dries, apply foundation or concealer. Then just finish off with your pressed/loose powder. Don't forget the blush, prevents the washed out/pasty look. Then it's fine.

Oh my! i understand precisely what you're dealing with! It relatively relies upon on your epidermis tones and your ordinary face, yet relatively all you'll want is: a million)some origin to even out your epidermis tone, this could make you seem relatively sparkling and sparkling. 2) some blush to rose your cheeks 3) in case you like,(i genuinely recommend) mascara. basically somewhat of this could open up your eyes ALOT All of those issues will basically naturalize your face, in case you utilize it appropriate. it may sound like alot of makeup, yet this could basically supply you the sparkling, sparkling seem. I guess you that maximum folk won't possibly notice you relatively have makeup on, yet they're going to notice which you have super epidermis, and open, eyes. If i individually had to apply basically considered one of those 3, i could to the mascara, because of the fact it makes your eyes seem not as drained, and droopey. stable success!

If your eyes are swollen, use a little Preparation H hemorrhoid cream (not the ointment) It will reduce the puffiness. The models use it all of the time.
