I always tell my customers two things; first, you get what you pay for. Second; whenever I've taken time out of my day, to compare the latest computers, whether they're notebooks, or desktops, entry level to pro grade... Dell has always come out on top, for having the most computer, for your money. You can certainly get a cheaper computer, but I refer you back to the first sentence... You get what you pay for!
I hope this helps;

the precise 5 skill laptops are HP, Gateway, Acer, Toshiba, and Dell in accordance to laptop international. i think of Dell Latitudes rock. the biggest situation is that service constantly alterations. It relies upon on who selections up the telephone. a minimum of all the above suggested manufacturers have alternative policies for defective instruments. additionally - computers are commodities that are constantly changing. complicated to foretell reliability. That Dell you purchased a at the same time as in the past isn’t even made anymore. I frequently end be a save like staples or ultimate purchase, verify stuff out, then stumble on a extra advantageous value on line.

You should just get a friend or someone to build a computer for you, just buying the parts yourself will save you a fortune.
But if you dont know anyone that will be willing to do that, you should go with dell. They have the best price:performance ratio

HP. Don't buy Dell below the XPS line. eMachines really aren't bad. No matter what you do you won't be able to get a really good PC in that price range, especially not a lenovo.

i have been buying Macs since 1987.
through all those years, upgrades, houses and a few new Mac purchases, they have never crashed, except when the house lost electricity.
and the few times they have crashed, i have never lost data.
