I agree that 360 in it first year has been bad around 30 percent. I have been lucky with mine and it has not craped the bed or locked up, i play for hours and leave it on for days with out any issue a feel bad for the people that have not had good luck with there 360. I know that the new 360 have a much better success rate with not failing because of the new cpu and upgrades they made on the console. I heard some store say that the returns for failing rate have fallen down to the level of ps3.
as long as they take care of the 360 owners and make improvements they dont get any **** from me

30-40% failure rate while the PS3 only has 0.2% failure rate and check what gamestop did because the 360 was failing so much http://kotaku.com/gaming/xbox-360/gamestop-no-longer-offering-xbox-360-replacement-plans-315950.php
I know your pain I had a 360 and it burnt out sent it in got a new one it RROD on me then I got so sick of the waiting and the breaking and the long "please hold" moments on the phone so I just sold it . M$ need to recall before it get worse there are going to be alot of crying kids in January and February. Some people may not like my answer either cuz their Xbots and they don't want to hear the truth or just downers.
And your 100% right about the games but awful console soon the Ps3 will have both I mean less then 3 months soon.

Hey, men, for your information, XBOX 360 is not the worst game system. Why it is not? Because in the XBOX 360, you can have internet on it and having an IM at all times. And, it's not working anymore because you didn't take care of it and you can even fix it by some of the professional mechanics at all times.

I agree im about to call for my 3rd xbox because m$ didnt do enough testing IMO. Games are great i mean halo 3 online is spectacular. I just hate it when my console randomly decides to stop reading the disc. How cheap is that?. I think i should have gotten a PS3... considering my PS2 never had problems but i wanted to try something new i guess

X-box 360 has good games but it has 20-50% of its rating because it freezes and burns up. I bought the x-box in april and its not in good shape. I have a gamecube in 2002 and it still works. I am buying a PSP AND A PS3. I had a gameboy advance SP since it came out.I agree, the X-box 360 piss me off.

Failure rate from personal experience in my area is low most of my friends are all still on their first ones besides the two we bought on release night... which burned out within the week...
IF your having a problem and don't really like it... Don't repurchase the insurance on the 360 you bought send it into the company they set a 2 year insurance automatically for the purchase I believe... You'll get it back more later then sooner but you'll have cooled down and can enjoy your ps3 =]

It's still better than a PS3 but the point is systems shouldn't be doing this. My GC I got in '03 is still running fine. The only system you should ever have to replace is a PC. I've heard about 360 problems, I've heard the PS3 has a higher percentage of problems, and I've heard the Wii is virtually problem free.

PS3 is a piece of crap - they definitely need to do a lot of work on it. When it comes to the 360, I have to have it laying flat down or it will never read my cds. I've only had it for a year and it's going on me ... which sucks. But I'd have to agree, the games are awesome

Agreed. If only the system was as good as the games. But Microsoft is a software company, not a hardware company, after all.

Yes HAlo 3 is the best but it would not detect the controller once in a while when me and my friends play. It annoys us. We also have trouble setting a mutiplayer up sometimes.
