It's a downer but life goes on. In the meantime i will be paying attention to Football Basketball & Hockey to see if my teams will make a playoff run(Giants) (Nets) Islanders)

Im like George Will...there are two seasons...Baseball and the Void. Its only 109 days till pitchers and catchers report. I do miss baseball season...its a constant, every day has something new going on, I track my beloved Indians, and there is always drama in New York. It gives me something more to enjoy and do besides worry about the world, the economy, the war and the normal everyday humdrum problems of life. Baseball season isnt life or death...it just makes life a little more enjoyable...and when Im looking out at 3 feet of snow in a couple of months, I will remember Opening day, all the little things that happened during the season, the playoffs...and be looking forward to doing it all over again

I'm also depressed that baseball season is over. Even though my Angels made all the way to the American League Division series. They had an exciting season. Can't wait till next season. Now I got no sports teams to watch.

I'm crazy ridiculously excited the Red Sox won, but I hate the playoffs because I know that the season is ending and it won't be months again until I can watch the Red Sox. Its sad, but I watch Fever Pitch a lot to get a good fix of the sox.
I get really giddy when baseball season starts again. I have to go to home openers and wear my Red Sox stuff all the time... Its great.
Basketball is okay too, but nothing compares to baseball for me.

It is depressing when baseball ends, to me that is the true end of summer. Cold breezes start moving in. No more laying by the poolside, with your fave team (THE YANKEES), are on the T.V. That is a great time for me. Then I get sad. But I realize in about 5 months it will be back. Then I can start the spring/summer/fall, all over again.

Even being in New England and Happy to win,Yes I'm sad it means some cold months till April. All the sad trade news comes out, last time we won half the team was gone.Yeah it sucks, but just think if it went seven we would have been in November.Probably in a few years it will be year round like Hockey and Basketball.

It's funny how everyone is waiting for the World Series to end so their team can win but then when they do win they get really sad. Yes I am really sad that the season ended and is ready for a really interesting off season cause of A-Rod . Now I can pay full attention to college and NHL football and will get ready for the NBA.

It sucks. I will always be a fan of baseball. I have to agree with you that it sucks that it is over. However, between hockey, football, and basketball season as well as my Yankees DVDs, should hopefully be enough to carry me through the off season.

I'm not depressed but theres a hole there. Football fills it a bit but its not until April that my interest perks up. Basketball and Hockey are just not cutting it for me. Baseball without a doubt is my favorite sport.

I'm sad for 3 reasons:
#1 ~ A-Rod opted out of his NYY contract so he probably won't be back as a Yankee unless the baseball gods smile down on me and my broken heart.
#2 ~ The Boston Red Sux won the world series!!!!! Sh**!!!!
and #3 ~ Baseball's over ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Time to read my baseball books till spring. And I'll rent "8 Men Out" . . . . . . . . . again!
