A couple actually. The town I live near used to be a mining town in the 1800's. There's a legend about an old woman who appears dressed in old clothing and walking miles from no where. When you pass her later on miles ahead you'll see her again. Also, a road known as Empire Mine Road is supposed to be haunted by children who died from small pocks in that area. If you stop your car, turn off your lights and kill the engine. Also, put powder on your back bumper, supposedly your car will be moved a few feet and small hand prints will be on the bumper. I've only heard these legends, but my brothers actually experienced the old lady.By the way I live in N. California and the town is called Antioch.
