When do I wear fishnet stockings?

I am a crossdresser learning about dressing as a woman. I bought a pair of fishnet stockings, but dont know what you can wear them with?

Unless you're trying to learn about the punk/emo style, no women that I know wear those.
If you really want to, you could wear it under a short dress, or a black skirt?
I think that maybe you'll be leaning towards the prostitute side, so I'd return them if I were you. :]

Fishnets are a tough sell on the appropriateness scale. They are inherrantly sexual more so that regaular stockings; however, in certain trendy work enviornments, you may be able to get away with it. It also needs to be in line with how you normally dress. If you are trendy and fashionable dresser and you work in a more poche enviornmenent, then fishnets may work. Be careful though, tan fishnets might be best since they give the look of fishnets but are far more discrete.

Halloween of for real casual. Super sheer stockings are the sexist to wear anytime both to look at and feel. Fishnets feel just awful!

If you want to wear them when woman wear them, try never, or Halloween, or occasionally in the bedroom sometime within the first 2 years of a relationship..........

You can wear them when you go out clubbing & you must wear them when you're dressed in your French maid uniform.
