It sucks....I'm so old, too old to be in my twenties anymore. Life is pointless and I am no longer young. I'll just lie when people ask.

I'd returned to the University at thirty and was the only person who wore a Brit' Old School tie with tiny silver leg irons.
My future spouse was there but I hadn't met her yet.

I spent that summer doing research that led to discovery of
the SS Gypsy that sank in 1912 with Spanish Mission furniture and 200 cases of bottled steam beer; t'was in 12 feet of water two hundred yards north of nearest wharf.

Then near Christmas I learned Darby Bexley had been killed
by rogues 130 miles east of Kinshasa. My father wrote me
from Africa that his death was honerable. I wept.

Thirty-two years later I've put 24,195 miles on my Yamaha
dirt bike, 15 years using one sea touring kayak, and still
call speleology my primary hobby after 43 years.

The peak period of your life is still 10 years away from you and you say that you are old.We all get old or even older for a few things but there was never any dearth of good things at all stages of life.If you think you can't chase teens now, change the gear and make it teens plus 5 or 8.(they are still there al beit in a slightly changed form and so what)? Now cheer up and get going.

I'm sure you've heard "your as old as you feel". If you start acting old, then you'll be old. I'm 46 and feel just as good as I did when I was 26. I've seen people old at 30 and I've seen people young at 60. It's your choice which one your going to be. And by the way, no decision is a decision...your feeling old, change it, or embrace it.

I'm 61 and the 30's were the best years of my life. You're more experienced and should be surer of yourself. I do hope that you have developed plenty of interests because you will continue to age and beauty doesn't last forever. And wouldn't you rather be 30 than the alternative?

good god - you'd think at 30 you would have grown up a bit. You sure as heck don't need to be coddled and babied with replies like " oh darlin' it will be just fine - you're still wonderful" what you need is to know that it only gets worse or better - its up to you. stop whining about it and make your life what you want it to be. I'm 31 - raisin 2 kids by myself - broke as f--- well, you know - In love with the most amazing guy who just lost his job pretty much and well, I got zits and wrinkles all at once - it blows !!! but i still get up in the morning and live and smile and don't cry about it

Live your life young, and you are young.

Do fun stuff, make fun friends, focus on the moment, and age won't bother you as much. Soak up life and all that it offers, before you die in what, 60 years? You have plenty of time.
