I mean if i enter into an agreement with an employer, in this case, is he obliged to give me a job 2 days a week , or no obligation unless i entered into a full time job agreement?

There are 2 types of work in Australia, permanent and casual.

Permanent means that you have steady work, and this can be full or part-time.

However, most part-time work is casual (some full-time work as well). Which means you get no leave entitlements but you are paid a higher hourly rate.

If you are working casually, your employer has no obligation to give you any miniumum amount of work and can dismiss you without notice. If you are permanent part-time then they must give you the minimum work required, though they can give you more if you both agree.
