Sexy vs. Slutty and Modesty?

ok so id love answers from both genders and from all different age groups but please specify which gender and age you are in your response.
1. what is the line between sexy and slutty?
2. do you consider modest dress (no bare stomachs, upper thighs, or chest) to be attractive?
3. is it ok for girls to show off a lot of skin?
4. where can you buy cute modest clothing? (this one may be mostly girl answers)

1. sexy is being attractive without showing too much skin or flaunting too much of your goods, sexy is also knowing what styles and colors of clothes fit you best and complement your skin tone and body shape. slutty is desperatly or carelessly letting your goods hang out or showing too much skin. slutty is attractive but inappropriate. slutty is also more informal and attention getting rather then sexy which can be informal or formal, but tends to be more conservative and not scream out "look at me"
2. i realy like modest dress if its done fashionably, not frumpy. but i can also like the more slutty look if its fashionable (and in the appropriate setting)
3. personaly i think it depends on the girls stats(single or not) and where she is going. work/school/church/family events...etc are not appropriate places to show off skin. but dance clubs/parties/inside dates with the bf or hubby/other private or informal times, it can be fine to show off a little more skin.
4. someone with good fashion sence and good shopping sence can easily put together an outfit from any department store or online store. most stores have a variety of styles and it helps to go with a friend(who is a different size then you incase you both like the same thing) that way you can get a second opinon by someone familiar with your style. however if you prefer a specific style you may be better off going to a store that caters to that style fashon bug, abercrombie, old navy...etc.

1. You can dress very attractively and classy and be sexy, but slutty is when you let everything show and hang out, being careless and immodest.
2. I dressed modestly all my life and got tons of compliments and attention, was called both "Classy" and "Sexy" on many occasions. Even during the bra burning days, I always wore a bra. So, yes, modest dress can be quite attractive.
3. It depends on the situation, but yes, there is a time and place for everything. Shorts and bathing suits are quite appropriate at the right time and place. Cute little slip dresses in the summertime are okay, and there are sweet little "bra dresses" that can be short with the bras built in, too! You can maintain your dignity and be modest even in fun casual clothing.
4. I love the cute Indian style dresses or pant-suits called Shalwar Kamees... They look quite modest and hippy like. They have longer tunic tops over loose fitting slacks. Modesty comes from learning how to carry yourself and sit without showing everything under your skirts.

You truly can find modest clothing at any store. Just look for styles with a higher neckline, sleeves that don't have your bra or bare chest showing through the sleeveholes, moderate hemlines, etc.

Another option is to learn to sew at home, and get nice fabrics and sew your own clothing.

1. Sexy outfits show back and just enough cleavage. Slutty outfits are hiked up tube top dresses that are too tight for your body and show the line of your thong. Sexy just means confidence and looking good in what you wear without showing too much skin.
2. I think that too-modest isn't fun. A low cut top with jeans and a cardigan is fine, just make sure you dont over do it with a tiny belly-showing top and mini skirt.
3. If they feel fine in it, who cares. They just need to be careful because some guys get the wrong image.
4. Forever 21 always has trendy things. <3 But H&M is my favorite.

Male age 50 I see so many young girls these days showing too much flesh, I am not a prude, or a fuddy duddy, I have 2 young daughters, but I hate to see the "chavvy girls" with their bellies hanging over their jeans, or skirts in their backsides. There is nothing wrong with a girl wearing a mini skirt, or showing a BITof cleavage, and there is nothing wrong with showing upper arms. I would say that because you show some concern about how much flesh you should be showing, shows you have some thoughts on decency, and you will choose sexy rather than slutty.

1. I have high respect for women so sexy for me, means feeling good about one's appearance and maintaining a fit body. If a woman shows unnecessary skin, I would consider that slutty.
2. Yup, I do. I'm more attracted to modest women.

1. The line is drawn by a) how a person carries themself and b) their appearance.
E.g. Red lipstick is sexy. Tiny skirts that show your knickers (or lack of) is slutty. Basically, sexy is the kind you can respect and slutty is the kind you can't!

1) A slut is someone guys know they can take home that night and mess with. Someone who gets passed around.
2) A slut isnt defined by clothes, but by actions. I think though that less skin is more. Also, believe it or not , many guys say the same thing!You have to leave something to the imagination, if they have seen everything, they know what the package is...
3)It is their choice, and though I have the body for it, Id never wear anything that shows off too much. I dont like to be the center of attention or have people assume things about me.. Especially guys.. not that I really care what they think, but I like to keep my head high.

1. attitude and carriage. The same outfit can be worn by 2 different people and carried off in two different views.

2. yes, it can be depending on the person. A Victorian outfit can look real nice on many women, likewise a cowgirl (woman) outfit can be sexy also.

3. With certain outfits it is ok, with others it simply looks like a poor attempt for attention.
