I recently bought a samsung 22 inch 226BW monitor, its a great monitor and is working fine except at times when I play games I'd notice some horizontal flickering, its not too major but it is noticable and kinda distorts the image.

I didn't think a monitor with a 2 m/s response time would actually lag so I called samsung and there sending me a refurbished replacement...........I'm just abit worried though coz this monitor is still pretty much brand new and I've never had a refurbished product........Im just thinking in that case maybe I should of bought a refurbished monitor to start with rather then buy a new one and have it replaced with a refurbished...
Opinions would be nice cheers..

Thanks in advance....

I know it's quiete annoying to you but despite of what's happening to your Monitor....

"Samsung" is still the best Brand that I know ...
But it happens to evrybody getting a defective product or a Factory Deffect ...

Your just unlucky to get one but it was under "Warranty"....

You don't have to pay for anything for the Repair...

Or they can Replaced it with a New one....
Don't change Brand ...

Why I'm saying this is I myself have a "Samsung BW" series 19" but don't haveany problem with it...

Just what you have experienced is a discouraging thing I know that specially that you have bought a Brand New Monitor...

It happens to all Brands not only to "Samsung"

If ever you want to change Brand ..

I recommend " ViewSonic " it's my second choice next to "Samsung"

Coz of Good Feed backs..Despite it's low Priced but with Quality Specs...

Do you know that most Branded Monitors used
"Samsung" components on their products..

To name the few "Acer" & "HP"...

So why they get parts from "Samsung"?

coz they know more about Quality....ok

Just givin you openion Hope this helps....

You may be noticing a difference in the game FPS and the monitor's refresh rate.

In the game there should be the option to lock the game image refresh to the monitor's V-sync. Try setting that.
